HBO's, "True Detective," season three features several filming locations throughout the River Valley and Northwest Arkansas. This route features some of the filming locations along Scenic Hwy. 71 just a short ride north of Fort Smith, Ark.
Plus, this takes you by Devil's Den State Park a beautiful place where several key scenes were filmed. If you haven't watched the series yet, don't worry...we won't give anyway any key plot twists. But whether you're a fan of the show or not, you definitely want to take the short, scenic ride to enjoy some of Arkansas' treasures.
