The Center For Art & Education presents en Plein Air featuring the works of two Arkansas watercolor artists whose work is done in Arkansas, en Plein Air.
Duane Hada has traveled and painted extensively throughout trout country as well as several saltwater destinations and enjoys recording both angling and fish species of the areas. You may have seen his art as trout stamp designs, in wildlife calendars, and trout regulation manuals. He is the illustrator for Ozark Trout Tales, Home Waters, and created the popular 2005 Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation license plate with a White River rainbow trout scene. Hada has been recognized as both artist and angler and received numerous awards locally as well as nationally.
Ava Obert lives in Mountain Home and has been a devoted artist since the age of 9. Her work emphasizes the ‘not so obvious beauty we are always surrounded with.’ Alleyways, construction sites, run-down parts of towns, houses or stores that are falling apart, these are the subjects that Obert chooses to exemplify.
Takes place on January 12, 2020, from 1 PM-4 PM. Light refreshments will be served and drinks are provided by Belle Point Beverages. The Exhibition will continue through January 24, 2020.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Duane Hada will conduct two workshops during the month of January on "Art of Fly Fishing" and "Fish Portrait Watercolor Painting".
