Vandoliers are a uniquely Texas band, distilling the Lone Star State’s vast and diverse musical identity into a raucous, breakneck vibe that’s all their own. Vandoliers effortlessly bring together the square toes and the steel toes. As its members have grown and matured, so has the sound of Vandoliers. But what remains the same, though, is the band’s core philosophy of solidarity and hope, evidenced by the motto they’ve all had tattooed on their arms: Vandoliers Forever, Forever Vandoliers.
A gritty, soulful southern rocker steeped in country, Taylor Hunnicutt crosses genre lines to give audiences an engaging storytelling experience. Raised in a small rural town in Southwest Alabama, Taylor has found the sweet spot between Blues, Southern Rock, Country & Americana. She has shared the stage with acts such as Joshua Ray Walker, Mike and the Moonpies, Jaime Wyatt, 49 Winchester, Them Dirty Roses, Red Clay Strays, Ward Davis, and many more. “With a voice that sounds like Stevie Nicks if she had been raised in the Black Belt, Hunnicutt bends genres between country, soul, blues, and rock but settles sweetly in the Americana style of Tift Merritt, Ryan Adams, or Amanda Shires.
